SYNOPSIS:
RAJKUMAR HIRANI'S FILM "SANJU" PRESENTS THE REAL STORY OF SANJAY DUTT WITH EMOTION, DRAMA AND UNREVEALED TRUTHS IN THE BIOPIC.

MOVIE REVIEW:

The film starts off with Sanjay Dutt (RANBIR KAPOOR) who is preparing to surrender himself to the supreme court's judgement in the Arms Act Case but still he decides to get a writer for his biography. First writer fails him wretchedly and so thereafter he looks for another writer & finally moves to a more strongly established writer Winnie (ANUSHKA SHARMA). Winnie opens up his biography. Sanjay makes confessions to her which are intimate.

It tells us about how he fought his foes in the fog, how much he struggled & fluttered like a bird to come out of the heavy, dark & destroying storms in his life, and also how he managed the ups and downs of his life which is nothing sort of a roller coaster ride.

It tells about the strong & unbreakable bond between a father and a son. Sanjay's most heart touching moments spent with his father Sunil Dutt ( PARESH RAWAL) and his mother Nargis Dutt( MANISHA KOIRALA) forms the major part of the movie. Also, his best friend Kamlesh (VICKY KAUSHAL) plays a major role in his life and is a important character in the movie.

It does not tells about Sanjay's past relations and marriages. It does tell about his wife maanyata (DIA MIRZA) who means a lot to Sanjay & is like a precious gemstone to him. She is there supporting him thoroughly throughout the movie.

It presents  the graph of his life marking the dark & the fair points pointing from being a happy & cute boy to the one who suffered blames for nonsense & untrue things.

Ranbir Kapoor's performance is beyond outstanding throughout the movie. The way he delivered his dialogues, danced like Sanjay, fought like him, and presented Sanjay is superb, Amazing and appreciable. He presented Sanjay's journey very realistically.

It tells about one man with different phases of life... Whether it's the emotional or broken phase where he is left all alone, or its the distorted phase letting him forbid himself from the drug addiction or the phase where he fought against the false blames.

The whole movie will take you to the real journey of Sanjay Dutt's life.
From the deep bruising in his heart to it's healing as well... Everything is shown truly!

Music on the other hand will keep your mood on. A.R. REHMAN, ROHA -ROHAN, & VIKRAM MONTROSE's music sets mood right. Soothing, celebrating, rocking, emotional and broken sounds in the background will let you feel the same as he felt.
